Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an application fee?

+

No! The Fullerton College application is completely free. There are no fees to apply.

Do I need to reapply every semester?

+

No. Once admitted, you remain a continuing student as long as you enroll in at least one course per academic year (Fall through Summer). If you don't attend or register for a full academic year, you'll need to reapply as a returning student.

How long does the application take?

+

About 15 minutes if you have your information ready. You'll need: email address, Social Security Number (if applicable), residency information, and educational history.

Can I save my application and come back later?

+

Yes! Both MyPath and the standard application allow you to save your progress and return later to complete it.

I applied before but never attended. Do I need to apply again?

+

Yes, if you haven't attended or registered within one academic year (Fall through Summer), you'll need to submit a new application.

What's the difference between MyPath and the standard application?

+

Both get you admitted to Fullerton College! MyPath is our recommended option because it offers additional resources like career exploration, financial aid guidance, and student support services all in one place.

When can I apply?

+

You can apply anytime! Fullerton College accepts applications year-round for upcoming terms. However, applying early gives you more time to complete orientation, meet with a counselor, and register for classes.

What if I'm under 18 or still in high school?

+

High school students have special admission requirements. Visit our Special Admit Students page or contact Admissions & Records at (714) 992-7075 for more information.

I attended another college. Will my credits transfer?

+

Possibly! After you're admitted, request official transcripts from your previous institution(s) to be sent to Fullerton College. Our counselors will evaluate your transcripts and let you know which credits can be applied to your program.

Who do I contact if I have problems with my application?
