Drop for Non-Payment Policy
for Non-Resident Tuition

(AP5020, AP5030)

Non-resident fees are due within 72 hours of registration. Non-resident fees — including the health fee, student representative fee, transportation fee, and any applicable materials fees — must be paid in full.

If payment is not received by the drop deadlines listed below, students will be dropped from registered classes to make seats available for others seeking to enroll.

  • Why am I being charged non-resident tuition?

    Residency classification is determined based on responses provided in your admission application. For full details, visit the Residency page.

  • How do I pay my fees?

    Log in to myGateway and go to Tools > Student Tools > Pay Account Balance.

  • How do I remove Non-Resident tuition from my account?

    Contact applicationhelp@fullcoll.edu or visit our live services. You can also visit the Residency page for more information.

  • What if a third party is paying my tuition?

    Contact the Fullerton College Bursar's Office to coordinate the payment before the drop deadline.

If you owe $150 or more and can't pay your full balance by the drop deadline, you can enroll in a Nelnet payment plan.

Payment plans include:

  • Convenient electronic payments
  • Online access to manage your plan anytime

To enroll: Log in to myGateway and go to Tools > Student Tools > Pay Account Balance. Payment plan availability dates are shown in the drop schedule above.
