How to Register with College Scheduler

 

Online Registration is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
(NOTE: myGateway may be periodically unavailable during system upgrades or hardware maintenance)

 

Fullerton College uses College Scheduler for registration and it generates a variety of daily schedules to fit your needs based on criteria your input, such as campus location, desired courses, and work breaks.

 

1. Log into College Scheduler via myGateway +

Log onto myGateway, Fullerton & Cypress College use myGateway as our online student portal which contains all of the tools necessary for registration, financial aid, and fee payments. The portal is available at https://mg.nocccd.edu/. You can also access myGateway by clicking on the myGateway icon available near the search bar on the top of any fullcoll.edu webpage.

Students log in with your myGateway ID (also known as your Banner/Student ID) and your password.

Click on the “Forgot Username” link on the myGateway site.

Don’t know your password?
Click on the “Forgot Password?” button on the myGateway site.

2. Click Register for Classes - NEW College Scheduler +

Students can register for classes by navigating to Tools > Registration > Register for Classes - NEW College Scheduler.
Be sure to select the appropriate term, save and continue, and then select the campus you would like to view classes for.

3. Search for and Add courses to your shopping cart+

Click "+ Add Course" to start adding courses. Find courses by subject, instructor, or input a CRN. Click add course to include courses in your schedule, then click done to return to the main screen.

4. Send courses to your shopping cart+

Clicking Generate Schedules will find all potential schedules based on your filters, breaks, and added courses.

  • Preview a schedule: Hover over the magnifying glass to see when classes are offered in that schedule.
  • Compare schedules: Check the checkboxes of up to 4 schedules and then click compare to view schedules side by side.
  • View a schedule: Click view to see full details about each course in that schedule.
  • Locking a section: Locking a section will remove other potential schedules without that particular section. Lock a course if you know you want to enroll in that particular section.
  • Favorite a schedule: Clicking the heart icon will save the schedule so you can easily refer back to it later.

5. Registering for the shopping cart course+

While viewing a schedule, click "Send to Registration Cart". You will be taken to your cart, where you can then click Register to register for all of the courses in your cart. Any error messages regarding prerequisites, course availability, and more will be shown during this step.

6. View charges and pay for your classes+

Click “View Charges” to add optional fees (student ID, ASB, etc) and pay enrollment fees.

For non-resident students: non-resident fees are due within 72 hours of registration. Non-Resident fees including health fee, student representative fee, transportation fee, and any materials fees must be paid in full or students will be dropped from registered classes to make seats available for other students seeking to enroll. Dropping a registered course+

Students at Fullerton College drop courses for various reasons such as academic difficulty, personal issues, scheduling conflicts, changes in major or goals, and financial constraints. They can drop courses online through the myGateway portal.

Knowing drop dates is crucial to avoid academic penalties, maintain eligibility for refunds, and ensure financial aid status is unaffected.

Staying informed about these dates helps students make timely decisions and manage their academic records effectively.
