What is Text Admissions & Records?
Text Admissions & Records is a service that enables you to use the text message feature of your mobile phone to send questions to and receive answers from Fullerton College Admissions & Records staff.

When can I use the service?
Text questions will be answered within 24 to 48 hours during our regular office hours. Text inquiries sent after scheduled office hours will be answered the following business day. Text messages received over the weekend may not receive a response until Monday or Tuesday.
How do we keep your data secure?
If you engage in a text message conversation about a sensitive topic or questions regarding your personal student records, you may be asked to continue the conversation over email, call, or Zoom. Due to privacy laws, such as FERPA, you may be required to verify your identity via Zoom with your photo ID.

Texts that are harassing, libelous, threatening, harmful, or obscene, or violate any applicable laws will be reported to the Fullerton College Campus safety and will be dealt with in an appropriate manner.
Does the service cost money?
There is no charge for this service, but charges from your cell phone provider may apply. These charges vary among plans and telephone providers.
Fullerton College does not take any responsibility for any charges your mobile phone provider may assess you for sending or receiving messages while using this service.
