What Happens After I Apply?

Follow these steps to complete your enrollment and get ready for your first day of class.

  1. Check Your Email (Within 3–5 Business Days)

    You'll receive important information including your Banner ID (student ID number) and instructions for accessing myGateway, your student portal.

  2. Complete Orientation & Assessment

    Required for priority registration. Complete online orientation and assessment to get the best registration time.

  3. Meet with a Counselor

    Create your Student Educational Program Plan (SEPP) and get help choosing the right classes for your goals.

  4. Check Your Registration Date

    Find out when you can register for classes in myGateway. Earlier registration times mean better class availability!

  5. Register for Classes

    Add classes to your schedule and pay your fees. Don't forget to apply for financial aid first!

  6. Get Ready for Day One

    Purchase textbooks, get your parking permit, and familiarize yourself with campus. Welcome to Fullerton College!
