Remove Unpaid Balance Holds
Students who owe $100 or more will have a UB (Unpaid Balance) hold placed on their record which means they cannot add, drop, or change classes in their schedule.
Signing up for a payment plan will prevent or remove the UB unpaid balance hold for the current term balance.
Please note: Students who have unpaid balance holds from prior terms will need to contact Admissions and Records for further assistance by phone at 714-992-7075 or text at 714-515-7611.
When you sign up for a payment plan, be sure to have the following information:
- myGateway student ID number.
- The name and address of the person responsible for making the payments.
- Account information for the responsible person.
- Financial institution’s name and telephone number, account number, and the financial institution’s routing number.
IMPORTANT! If you have questions about creating a payment plan, your agreement or need to make a change to your address, telephone number, or account number, call Nelnet Business Solutions at (800) 609-8056.
